Even It Girls like Alix Earle aren’t immune to awkward interactions with their exes. According to a recent TikTok shared by the social media personality, she had an unexpected run-in with Braxton Berrios, who she dated for two years until December 2025.
As she removed her glam of the day, she revealed they had “briefly said hi” to each other after they reunited at the Palm Tree Festival in Aspen, Colorado. “It was honestly just really hard for me—really weird, really hard,” she shared.
The Dancing With the Stars alum continued, “I was really emotional. The first night we were, like, in the same place, but we didn’t say hi to each other, just because I didn’t want to, like, go up and annoy him, I don’t know, but I could see him out of the corner of my eye.”
She then described her experience of a specific phenomenon that past lovers know all too well, adding, “It’s weird when you go from someone being like your best friend to being a stranger in the corner of the room. So that was tough. And by tough, I mean terrible.”
Despite the interaction, Alix reassured her 8.3 million TikTok followers that she still had a good time. “It was a really fun weekend overall, just being with my friends and my family,” she said.
Braxton and Alix broke off their relationship back in December because of difficulties maintaining a long-distance relationship.
Alix gave more context behind their split in a December 13 TikTok, saying, “We have been doing long distance since, basically, June, and we haven’t gotten to see each other that often. It’s just been really difficult for me.”
At the time, she added, “A part of me also really wants to be focusing on myself right now. I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs.”
The podcaster has seemingly moved on since then, as she’s been making headlines for her rumored romance with former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
Several sources weighed in on Alix and Tom’s connection with the Daily Mail, with one saying, “If they hang out again, it would be a fling at best. But nothing has happened between them as of yet. It’s not that Tom isn’t interested—it’s just too soon for anything more than a fun hangout.”
As for Braxton, a DeuxMoi tipster spotted him “flirting all night” with Jacob Elordi’s maybe-ex, Olivia Jade, during the Palm Tree Festival on February 22.
Aaaand Olivia also posted an Instagram Story with Alix that same weekend…so it’s unclear what her connection to Braxton is, despite the spotting.
